Covid-19 Update

The safety of our school community is our foremost priority. When we reopen, we will be making changes to our program based on recommendations by the Santa Clara County Health Department and requirements imposed by Santa Clara County Childcare Licensing.

While recommendations are changing frequently, some of the changes we have implemented in the 2020-2021 school year are:

  • Lower class size, 10-12 children.

  • Non-contact temperature checks (children and parents) upon arrival.

  • Masks will need to be worn by all adults while at school.

  • We will put social distancing measures in place as much as possible.

  • Everyone who enters the school will be asked to wash their hands upon entry.

  • Frequent handwashing.

  • Enhanced cleaning practices.

  • During the nice weather class will be mostly outdoors.

  • Children will have their own box with art supplies.

  • Bring your own snack from home.

  • Outdoor classes with access to facilities for the children.

  • Sign in and out with a pre-sanitized pen.

Please remember that the COVID-19 pandemic is a fluid situation.  Federal, state and local orders and guidance may change frequently.  Our goal is to keep everyone healthy while providing a safe and fun learning environment.

As we monitor the advice for state and federal health officials, we will continuously revise our protocols to make sure our community is safe.
