Developmental Goals of the 1-Day program
Social/Emotional Development
Through play and developmentally appropriate activities your child will learn about families, friendships, sharing, taking turns, and feelings (their own and others'). Your child will gain empathy, self-esteem, self-confidence and self-control (impulse control).
Cognitive Development
Through play and developmentally appropriate activities your child will explore size shape, color, variety, similarities, differences, sorting, classifying, logical reasoning, cause & effect, planning, decision making and experimenting.
Language Development
Through play and developmentally appropriate activities your child will improve and increase receptive & expressive language skills, listening skills, verbal & non-verbal communication, labeling, pre-writing skills, the use of symbols and the art of conversation.
Physical Development
Through play and developmentally appropriate activities your child will gain increased muscle control, spatial awareness, motor planning and movement skills, (pushing, pulling, jumping, climbing, filling, dumping, mixing, pouring, stirring, shaping, carrying, and stacking).
2-Day Class

Developmental Goals of the 3-Day Program
Each child is a unique person, who will develop at their own maturation level and through their own understanding of the environment (experiences). As a child gains new knowledge she/he combines it with previously learned information. Thus, it is important that a child be able to interact with all of their senses using the various materials in a creative way.
